3 treadmill miles today. Ugly ugly ugly ones. Still feeling a little under the weather but made it. Did take a one minute walk break after 15 minutes and it helped me make it through. Hoping to be able to take in a little more nutrition today, which I think will help too.  First mile a 2.5% incline and last two at 1% incline  feeling like a pansy on this note, but trying to run!

21 day fix: lower leg fix. Probably need to be sure to run prior to these workouts. I think it left me a little fatigued as well on top of everything else. But definitely feeling better and so glad to be moving!

We've all had those "ugly" miles at different times. It's nice just to finish them:)

Ditto Ryan. I figure I need a few ugly miles when I train so I can handle it if I have an ugly mile or two at a race. We all have good days & bad days. It's what you do with your bad days that make you a better runner, but listen to your body & if it needs a break it needs a break.

Thanks Christy. I know this sounds completely naive, but I hadn't thought of gutting out the ugly miles in a race too. Perfect training for those.
