I have been married to an amazing man for the last ten years. He is the greatest person I know and I simply try to keep up with him. We have two daughters who add sass and flavor to every second of our lives.

4 miles on the treadmill. 3% grade for 3.25 then down to a 2% grade for last 3/4 of a mo. Ran at a 6.5 and 6.6 for 3.25, up to 7.3 for .25, 7.6 for next .25 then up to 8.1 for last quarter. Ran .15 cool down at 5 speed. Excited to get this longer run in! Was trying to decide if I was going to start in week 3 or 4 of my training plan. This run today made the decision! Week 4 it is!! I felt great running. Obviously due to my lack of training I was tired but was able to complete this and felt good. Ran it in 36:02. Just over 9 minute miles. Pleased with this. I want to run under 2 hours for my half marathon this summer. So this pace will just about put me there. I need to make sure I am pushing myself a little bit on time this year. I want to enjoy the running and not burn myself out but try a little bit harder to push myself and not just give up. 15 weeks until race time. I am feeling good right now!
