I have been married to an amazing man for the last ten years. He is the greatest person I know and I simply try to keep up with him. We have two daughters who add sass and flavor to every second of our lives.

I was a little sore in my hips after Friday's workout so I was thinking I need to incorporate a little more downhill training into my workouts. Not a ton just some. So I did a more flat and downhill workout on the TM today. Also really tried to push my pace since I was running downhill and flat. First 3.32 miles at -1% elevation and 6.8-6.9 speed. Next 2 miles at 0 elevation and 7.3 speed. Last 1.18 at 1% incline and upped the speed. 7.7-8.5 for a mile then 9.3 for a 200 meter dash and 9.8 for last 150 meters. Feel great! I ran a couple of Half marathons last year and never felt ready or did very well. I hadn't trained properly. I am feeling much more confident this time.

54:13 for 6.5 miles average pace 8:20. Not my fastest average. I did four miles with a 8:13 average pace. But this isn't too bad for seven miles.
